Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tipper and low-loader truck to transport roadwork machinery and deliver materials to and from multiple sites.
- Load and unload equipment and materials efficiently, using appropriate machinery and securing loads in compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain a range of plant and machinery to facilitate loading and unloading from trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles and equipment are in safe working condition.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Maintaining cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Approach work with a safety & quality attitude.
- Follow instructions issued by Foreman.
- Attend work punctually every day.
- Be available for any required training or meetings.
- Comply with any reasonable request by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience driving a C license vehicle (tipper experience desirable)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- CPC Card with all modules up to date
- Manual handling training is an advantage (can be provided if needed)
- Building services experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, motivation, and ability to work in a team.
Licence/Certification:
- Safepass Card (required)
- Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
- CE Driving Licence (required)
