At McHale we produce a range of cutting edge agricultural baling, wrapping and mowing machines. Exports account for over 90% of our sales and our products can be seen working in 55 countries around the world.

“In 2015 we made the decision to expand our main manufacturing plant in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo by 200,000 square feet. For the floors we worked with McGraths Limestone in Cong who developed a specialised concrete mix incorporating steel fibres for our finished floors. McGraths supplied up to 500 meters of this specialist concrete per day.  We found McGraths Limestone to be very helpful in the development of the product, professional in their dealing with us and reliable in terms of meeting our strict delivery schedule.  We would have no hesitation in recommending McGraths Limestone based on their reputation and the service they have provided to us.“

Last Friday, the McGraths Group came together in Cong for our Company Day 2026. It was a full and forward-looking session, covering our plans for the year ahead, key growth opportunities, and an important focus on Health and Safety across all sites @McGraths_Limestone_Cong, @Cemfloor_by_McGraths and @Apex_Minerals We were also honoured to welcome three exceptional guest speakers. Lianne Mc Manamon and Padraig O’Hora from the Mayo Mental Health Association (@mayomha). Our final speaker, Marian Deacy of Live for Lorcan (in collaboration with Electric Skyline), delivered a deeply impactful talk on the importance of safety, awareness and looking out for one another. A heartfelt thank you to all who attended and contributed. ✨ A Big Thank You to Our Visiting Students This Week ✨ We were delighted to welcome two fantastic students to McGraths Limestone Cong as part of their school experience programmes. 👷‍♀️ Fia Ní Cheoinín – Scoil Phobail Mhic Dara, Carna This is Fia’s second time joining us. Last year, during her Transition Year placement, she spent time with our Environment, Health & Safety Officer, Mary, gaining a first look into the world of Health & Safety. Fia returned this week through her 5th Year LCVP module — and it’s clear that Health & Safety is the direction she’s excited to pursue. Her curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm were brilliant to see. 📊 Ellanora Curran – St. Paul’s School, Oughterard We were also delighted to welcome Ellanora, who has a strong interest in Business and Enterprise. She spent her time exploring the marketing side of the business. Coming from a family deeply rooted in construction and entrepreneurship, Ellanora said she enjoyed seeing how things operate outside the family business - gaining new perspective and insight into future career options. Both Fia and Ellanora brought great energy, passion, and professionalism during their time with us. 👏 We wish both of them the very best in their studies and future careers.
