Job Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities:

  • Attend work punctually every day
  • Safely operate a tipper and low-loader truck to transport roadwork machinery and deliver materials to and from multiple sites
  • Load and unload equipment and materials efficiently, using appropriate machinery and securing loads in compliance with safety regulations
  • Operate and maintain a range of plant and machinery to facilitate loading and unloading from trailers
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles and equipment are in safe working condition
  • Liaising with site managers, clients, and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
  • Maintaining cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
  • Ad hoc duties as required
  • Approach work with a safety & quality attitude
  • Follow instructions issued by Foreman
  • Be available for any required training or meetings
  • Comply with any reasonable request by management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months experience driving a CE license vehicle (rigid essential; tipper experience desirable)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • CPC Card with all modules up to date
  • Building services experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, punctuality, motivation, and ability to work in a team.

Licence/Certification:

  • Safepass Card (required)
  • Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
  • CE Driving Licence (required)
