McGraths Limestone Cong is now seeking an Experienced Tarmac Roller Driver to join our growing road surfacing and civil works team. This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to a reliable, safety-focused operator who takes pride in high-quality finishes and teamwork on site.
The successful candidate will have experience finishing tarmac using rollers of various sizes and will work closely with the road crew to support asphalt laying, traffic management, plant operation, and general site preparation. While a roller ticket is an advantage, it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate tarmac rollers to achieve high-quality finishes
- Assist with asphalt laying, site preparation, and clean-up
- Support traffic management (TM training provided)
- Operate additional machinery where required (e.g. paver, JCB)
- Carry out daily checks and maintain fluid levels on plant and machinery
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Follow instructions from the Foreman and site management
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
Requirements
- Previous experience finishing tarmac with rollers
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling
- Strong communication skills and punctual work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Building services experience is an advantage
- Roller ticket advantageous but not essential
