The Role

We are seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our successful and thriving business. The ideal candidate should have previous accounts experience to ensure the managing of day-to-day operations in a busy office while increasing productivity and optimising its financial transactions and systems for the company. The successful candidate for this position should have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and an approachable and friendly personality.

Job Profile

  • Reviewing, querying & verifying all invoices for appropriate documentation prior to processing and input into accounts payable system
  • Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry
  • Obtain payment approval on invoices prior to payment
  • Maintain and file meticulous supplier records
  • Assist senior financial officers as needed
  • Screening, answering, and forwarding phone calls in a professional & courteous manner
  • Administration, file keeping and basic clerical tasks
  • Cover reception area when needed- lunch breaks, holidays etc
  • Ability to work in a team environment and assist other staff members
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to work self-directed (day to day) with a high level of initiative & priority setting
