The Role

We are seeking to hire a road construction labourer to join our road crew team, working in the Mayo/Galway region. Duties include prep work for laying of asphalt, asphalt reinstatement, setting out traffic management on job site, driving various plant, traffic management etc. You should have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and an approachable and friendly personality.

The Person’s profile is as follows:

    • Safe Pass required
    • Manual handling, abrasive wheels, excavator and any other plant tickets desirable
    • A reasonable level of fitness required for working with Asphalt in a demanding environment
    • Previous road construction experience an advantage
    • Safety and Quality first attitude to work
    • Able to follow instructions as set out by the foreman
    • Enjoy working in a team environment
    • Punctual
